Hi everyone! I’m Victoria, one of the International Recruitment Managers here at The University of Sheffield. I look after East and Southern Africa and help students from these regions come to study in the UK and specifically here at Sheffield. I’ve been working at the University for 6 years and I also studied in the city – I absolutely love living here, it’s a fantastic place. It is a culturally vibrant and very friendly city, and the nature within and around the city is truly beautiful – there is so much to explore in and around this Sheffield.

Hi! I’m Sid, a 2nd year Bioengineering student from Kenya, currently on a year in industry as a data scientist for Roche.
I totally remember what it was like in your position-being a prospective student coming to university was a mix of emotions of being nervous to being really excited! I had many questions on my mind but what really eased the transition was asking as many questions and also accepting the mixed feelings because this is where you are going to be living the next 3/4 (most amazing) years of your life! At the end of it all, you realize coming to Sheffield was the best decision you could make!
